I think community service is important because It is nice to help other people.
You can help by donating money, hair/wigs,toys etc.
I am looking forward to helping people who cannot afford food.
My favorite community service is making stands.

OCTOBER COMMUNITY SERVICE
This month, for my community service work, I picked up trash at a playground because it looked messy.
In my photo, you can see me picking up trash.
I would do this again because it helps children and the earth.
I liked it because it was fun!
It was fun because I liked to skip around and pick up trash.
I had never done this and I think it's a good idea.
NOVEMBER COMMUNITY SERVICE
My goal is to at least collect 100 batteries if i don't I'd like to get 60 batteries.
This month for community service I collected batteries and took them to Batteries Plus, Natick.
In my photo you can see me holding a battery.
We have over 600 batteries.
I liked doing this because it's fun and helpful at the same time.
I would recommend it and I would do it again!
DECEMBER COMMUNITY SERVICE
For community service I helped an organization called El Hogar.
El Hogar is an orphanage and school located in Honduras where poor, homeless children live.
My Cub Scout pack collected shampoo, notebooks, underwear, socks etc. because the children in need can find these items useful.
I organized and made labels for the boxes where items were placed.
I would do this again because these poor people wouldn't get any supplies that they desperately need.
