I think that community service is good because people need to help each other and the earth as well.
My favorite community service work has been clearing out a park. I really liked it because I got to be outside and have fun.
I am most looking forward to helping children because it will be nice and fun to give other children things that they need.

_ November community service goals-helping the environment. My goals for November are to set up a sports shoe recycling group in the class.
This month, for my community service work, I worked with Torin and Bella on collecting old shoes for the Nike Reuse A Shoe Program to be made into sports turf for young people. We took the sneakers into NikeTown in Boston to be recycled.
_ December community service goals - helping families/adults. My December goals are to make cookies and give them to the fire department and give toys to Toys for Tots. This month for community service I donated cookies to the Milton fire dept.
_ January community service goals - helping animals. My January goals are to donate two bags of animal toys to my local animal shelter.
This month for community service I donated three bags of toys and paper towels to my local animal shelter. I also put out homemade peanut butter suet for the birds. It was fun and messy to make.
_ February community service goals-helping seniors. My February goals are to either donate anything I can to a home for the elderly or make cards for some seniors that I know.
